MEET THE BAND
Ashley Boyles
Vocals
As a passionate singer from a young age, music has always been at the core of my being. Influenced by the likes of Celine Dion and LeAnn Rimes, I honed my skills through regular karaoke sessions at the Moose Lodge and had the incredible opportunity to perform at a benefit alongside legendary acts such as Martha Reeves, The Platters, and Benny Reeves.
In addition to my vocal talents, I also delved into instrumental music, playing the flute, tenor sax, and Tuba in various band and marching band settings. I further cultivated my passion for music by singing with the choir throughout my high school years and have since learned guitar.
My journey as a musician led me to join bands such as "Nandez Band" and "Detroit Pop Roxx" and "Floorplay," where I had the privilege of collaborating with incredibly talented individuals. Tragically, we lost our keyboard player, John Fain (Floorplay), to cancer, which deeply impacted us.
Despite the challenges, I persevered and eventually co-founded Foxound with my best friend Dominick Fellows. While Dominick has shifted his focus to the original artist Ryan Jay, Foxound has continued to evolve and grow, attracting a lineup of incredibly gifted musicians.
For me, music is not just a passion; it is my heart and soul. I am particularly drawn to rock music, and my current favorites include Led Zeppelin, Tedeschi Trucks, Paramore, and Flyleaf. With a deep love for music and an unwavering commitment to my craft, I am excited to continue sharing my talents with the world.
